Trusting Reverence
Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him: But I will maintain (judge) mine own ways before Him.
Genesis 50:19-20 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for I am in the place of God? 20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
Will you judge your ways before Him in Godly fear? Will you receive correction from the Almighty? Is His hand on your life?
Job 6:14 To him that is afflicted pity should be shewed from his friend; But he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.
Job was responding to that which was happening and the accusations of his friends. He is waiting in great expectation for Gods hand to be lifted. Even though death is better than his current affliction Job says:
Job 6:11 What is my strength, that I should hope? And what is mine end, that I should prolong my life?
Deuteronomy 4:30-31 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to Yahuweh thy God, and shalt be obedient unto His voice;  31 (for Yahuweh thy God is a merciful God;) He will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which He sware unto them.
In the latter days still obedience is required both from Israel and His church.
Job 36:8-12 and if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction; 9 Then He shewed them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded. 10 He opened also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity. 11 If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. 12 If they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
Proverbs 16:6 By Mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of Yahuweh men depart from evil.
The reverence (fear) of Yahuweh is obedience to Him through His Word.
Hebrews 12:28-29 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, (divine influence) whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Philippians 2:12-13 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure. Hebrews 13:21
O Father that we may know your ways, but having your covenant and promises we stand in hope of your mercy and divine influence of You Holy Spirit to guide and correct us by revealing our transgressions. Let humility and obedience; abound in my life. Let me be quick to understand my offense to Your Spirit of Truth that I may quickly repent and that iniquities hold on my life be broken. That your hand be stayed, and a perfect work be done to the glorifying of Your Son's sacrifice for me; so that Your Son's glory is reflected through my life.
